Under the Housing Act 2010 a fine up to $2,200 and/or three months imprisonment applies for making a false statement or representation. Bridge Housing may refuse further assistance or prosecute anyone who wilfully makes any false statements as a result of which they obtain accommodation or other financial benefit of any kind.
1. Payment of any outstanding non-rent debt/charges (includes water and repairs) for which I am liable.
2. Cancelling my Centrelink or direct debit payments to Bridge Housing.
3. Cancelling my electricity, gas and cable TV contracts (where applicable).
4. Leaving the premises in the same condition (fair wear and tear excepted) as at the start of the tenancy. The bond will be charged for any damages caused by the tenant.
5. Cleaning the property and removing all rubbish. The bond will be charged if this is not completed.
6. Removing all my items from the property after the keys have been returned to Bridge Housing. Any items left behind will be deemed to be unwanted goods. These goods will be disposed of in accordance with the a Residential Tenancies Act 2010.
7. Returning the property keys to Bridge Housing by the above date and time.
8. Providing Bridge Housing with forwarding details for such things as returning the bond. Providing Bridge Housing with a forwarding address and contact details for such things as returning the bond.
9. I have downloaded a copy of the Vacating Checklist and I am aware of how I must leave the property
I understand that by ending my Bridge Housing tenancy, in order to be considered for another social housing property in NSW I will need to apply through the Housing Pathways system and the relevant Bridge Housing process for Affordable Housing programs.
I have read and agreed with the above list of my responsibilities when ending my tenancy.
I understand that I need to give the required notice to end my tenancy and will be charged rent until this point. After this point until I return the keys I will be charged use and occupation I understand these conditions and still want to return the property keys to Bridge Housing.
